Let the summer festival chatter begin

When the weather starts to warm, even just mildly, Milwaukeeans' collective case of cabin fever begins to break and most of us convert to a one-track mind for the season: summer festivals.

For a city that's kept cooped up indoors for far too long, it's really never too early to commence summer festival chatter. We've been announcing headlining acts for Summerfest and the Wisconsin State Fair for a month or two now, but even we're surprised we made it this long before diving head first into discussion.

Tomorrow at 9 a.m. OnMilwaukee.com's editorial staff is gathering to exchange thoughts and ideas -- we'll even try to answer your submitted questions -- via live blog about the crazy time of every year when Milwaukee lives up to its nickname as the City of Festivals.

So, let's chat: Which festival is the most fun? How are the musical lineups shaping up? How many foods on a stick will be available this year? Whose got the best beer selection?
