Summerfest books Eric Clapton

Today Summerfest announced Eric Clapton as its sixth Marcus Amphitheater headliner for Summerfest 2010. Clapton is scheduled to perform Monday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. with special guest Roger Daltry opening the show.

As any classic rock fan knows, Eric Clapton needs little introduction. He's been in a handful of legendary bands, including John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, The Yardbirds, Cream, Traffic, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominos. He then spawned a ultra successful solo career

Daltry, of course, is best known as a founding member and lead singer for The Who. If you missed The Who's much talked about Super Bowl halftime show, now's your chance to redeem yourself.
