The Top 25 Reasons Why I'm Looking Forward to Summerfest 2009

I am looking forward to Summerfest this year for so many reasons...there is NO way that I will be able to fit all of those reasons on this blog, so I've narrowed it down to the top 25. Maybe you can take some time, and write down your top 25 reasons why you're looking forward to 2009's largest music festival in the world!

1) Can't wait to sing for opening ceremonies again, if the opportunity arises. It's such a rock star moment
2) I just turned 40...so I really need to hear people say "wow, she looks really good for 40 and boy can she sing!"
3) People watching...I never grow tired of clothing that is too small, or shirts that are off that need to be on...it's so very cool!
4) Spending time with my son by the "kid" pool - I absolutely, positively love hanging out with Keaton at Summerfest.
5) Watching my favorite bands play and hanging out backstage with friends I only get to see when they are in town performing:)

9) Running into old friends who I only get to see at Summerfest
10) Running into people who I really DON'T want to see at Summerfest, but who may say "wow, she looks really good for 40!"
11) Hanging out really late with my husband by the lakefront and enjoying the view!
12) Watching the fireworks at the lakefront
13) Eating the thing from the restaurant that I can't remember the name of!
14) Seeing Vic, Don, Bob, Jon, Frank, Ernie, Chris and laughing...I absolutely, positively love to laugh with these guys:):)
15) Going out to jazz clubs after Summerfest closes and watching my friends play in other bands. It is a blast
16) Hanging out with friends. This year is different because I truly mean...hanging out with some REAL friends
17) GIGGING AT SUMMERFEST! I CAN'T WAIT...CAN'T WAIT...CAN'T WAIT TO SING MY ASS OFF THIS YEAR!
18) Happy that I look at Summerfest as an opportunity to share a blessed talent with a lot of people. I don't care what time I play, or what stage, or how much I'm gettin' paid...I only care that I'm playing!
19) See good friends for the opening ceremonies!
20) Playing with Streetlife at Summerfest for the first time. I'm totally looking forward to that!
21) Maybe singing back up with some other groups this year...
22) Relaxing more and enjoying my days more
23) Showing my husband some of the secret spots to makeout...spots I've never shown anybody!!!!
24) Giving the audience everything I've got, and...
25) Spending every day giving props to all the bands that are performing this year at the festival! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF THE MUSICIANS!!!!
