American Idol tour will stop at Summerfest

The top 10 finishers on this year's installment of "American Idol" will be in Milwaukee this summer for a headline show at the Big Gig.

Summerfest officials announced Tuesday that the American Idol Live 2010 Tour will stop at the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, July 2.

The tour will include performances by Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Lee DeWyze, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus and Tim Urba.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 15 and include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Marcus Amphitheater box office and via Ticketmaster. Patrons may also utilize "ticketfast" at Ticketmaster.com to print bar coded concert tickets from home. Fees may be added to all purchases.

Summerfest 2010 runs from June 24 through July 4 at the Maier Festival Park.
