The biggest shock of these to me was Willy DeVille – I liked his music, saw him at Summerfest about 25 years ago.  Who could forget Michael Jackson passing on the opening day of Summerfest this year – the word traveled like wildfire around the grounds that afternoon.  And I didn't realize that Jim Carroll could now add his own name to his song "People Who Died."
